| Visionary Art is an online art gallery
focusing on mainly Outsider Artists.
This site was started in 1996 with the goal of exposing art enthusiasts
to this important genre of American Art. Since that time, Visionary Art
has experienced significant growth and continues to be the premier
outlet for Outsider Art Information and works on the web. We were the
first site to offer downloadable videos, candid photographs as well as
interviews with prominent Outsider Artists. We cover several Outsider
Art festivals each year including the Kentuck Festival in Northport,
Alabama, Folkfest in Atlanta, Georgia and others. The wealth of information we provide on our site has garnered
the attention of several publications including Southern Living and
Christianity Today Magazine.
