Born on a mountaintop in Tennessee Lamar is a self-taught artist who attempts to translate his obsession with music into visual forms. Lamar has many paintings hanging in the House of Blues and the Tennessee State Museum. Lamar's work  has been featured on various album covers and is collected by many famous musicians and actors including :
